McKinzie Spence is a writer, yoga teacher, chef, and student in Chicago, IL.

Currently in pursuit of a B.S. degree in Health & Wellness and constantly furthering her studies in other areas of interest, McKinzie considers herself a lifelong student. After spending nearly a decade in hospitality, she left the kitchen to train as a teacher and wellness professional. McKinzie hopes to share a unique approach to self-compassion, mindfulness, and food through the wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda. She holds an A.A.S. degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University and a Registered Yoga Teacher-200 hour designation from Yoga Alliance. She enjoys spending time in nature with her partner Sean, cooking, and reading at home – with a cat nearby and a cup of tea.
